Mission
The Institute's primary objectives are to provide an institutional union for all accounting professionals in our country, to support and promote the activities and interests of the accounting profession, and to protect the reputation of the profession. Professionals face increasing expectations from society and government institutions as a result of rapidly changing and evolving economic conditions and practices. Accountants and independent auditors, who play an important role in recording commercial activities, have also been tasked with playing an important role in reporting, interpretation, and decision-making. In this environment, the vision of professionals has become very important in shaping the future of the profession. Professionals must continue their duties within a binding legal framework without compromising professional ethics and professional standards.
Vision
To elevate the quality and standards of the accounting profession, which serves as a bridge between the state and society, and to become an exemplary professional Institute that is reliable, transparent, and adds value.
Our goals in this direction:
Institutionalization
- Developing and sustaining the institutional structure and capacity of the Institute
- Enactment of the accounting profession law
- Being appointed as the authorized body for licensing and monitoring of its members under professional law
- Being recognized as the sole accounting and auditing body by the Council of Ministers
- Ensuring the adoption and implementation of professional ethics rules by members
Member Services
- Providing technical support, training, continuous professional development and updates on matters related to professional activities
- Organizing regional meetings and social events
- Effectively conveying members' voices to government authorities and ensuring resolution and follow-up of issues faced by both taxpayers and professionals
External Relations & Advocacy
- Providing opinions to authorities during legal and financial regulation processes and developing efficiency-enhancing recommendations
- Maintaining consultation and cooperation with economic organizations in our country
- Staying in contact with equivalent organizations abroad and international standards-setting bodies to improve and develop our professional practices
